SHORTS MÉXICO, is the largest film festival, specialized in short films, in Latin America; a platform that supports and promotes creative expressions of emerging and established filmmakers from around the world, in its last edition it presented more than 1,000 short films and was made in a hybrid format with virtual and online exhibitions, exceeding one million viewers.
The seventeenth edition of Shorts México–International Short Film Festival of Mexico will take place from September 1 to 30, 2022 with venues in the 16 municipalities of Mexico City, including the Cineteca Nacional, Cinemex Reforma 222, Centro Cultural Bella Época – Lido Cinema, UNAM University Cultural Center, UNAM Lake House, Lighthouses and cultural centers belonging to the CDMX Secretariat of Culture.
