For a few days now, we have seen that the streets of San Miguel have been dressed with the emblematic brass stars, ready to celebrate Christmas. Some stores have decorated their doors with red flowers that remind us of the Christmas season, and the public parks are already filled with Nochebuenas, the national flower.

Christmas is near, we can feel it in the air. Soon we will be able to find in the markets the Christmas stalls with everything we need to decorate our homes and set up the Mexican Nativity Scene.

At home, the delicious fruit punch is already being prepared to warm the body and feed the spirit; buñuelos and tamales are the main dishes these days. In the shopping malls we listen to Michael Bublé and Nat King Cole to envelop us in this peaceful atmosphere.

Everything is ready, the city has been transformed to bring illusion to the little ones. The big Christmas tree will illuminate our nights and remind us of the magic and warmth of these dates.

If you want to see the lighting of the Christmas tree, don’t miss it this Friday, December 2 at 7pm at the Jardín Principal. Share this unique moment with your family and the fresh Christmas aroma.
