As part of the Chapultepec National Performing Arts Circuit, this Friday the 27th the Sindicato Centro Cultural Comunitario brings us from Jalisco the company Bazar Teatro with an interesting staging for teenagers and adults: “La Serie de las cosas (Radiografía entre paredes)”. Directed by Claudia Anguiano «Clos» who is also the performer, together with María de Jesús Guízar, this piece was inspired by the confinement due to the COVID-19 sanitary crisis. As we all noticed, carrying a routine from the isolation at home brought us closer to the objects that surround us in a different way: they are dusted off and links are recovered, they mirror us and make us think about why we keep what we keep. In this work two women, 67 and 39 years old, share the same space, locked up for more than a year because something is happening outside and they don’t want to find out. Their confinement makes them see in the elements that surround them triggers of memories and nostalgia: «time is a traveling companion that forgets, accumulates, weighs, wears out.»

Tickets cost 100 pesos for either of the two scheduled performances (6pm and 8pm), at the auditorium of El Sindicato (Recreo 4, Centro), where the promise of a moving show is set to welcome San Miguel residents hungry for good theater.
