The San Miguel World Music Orchestra will pay tribute to the incredible music of Carlos Santana. Carlos is an exceptional musician of Mexican heritage, with an innovative style that mixes rock, blues, and jazz with popular Latin and folkloric rhythms. This group promises to produce a fine tribute to this master musician and his groundbreaking music. The orchestra will surely put their own personal touch to the music with each musical piece they perform.

The San Miguel World Music Orchestra was inaugurated in July of this year. It was created with the idea of representing the city of San Miguel at the San Miguel de Allende World Music Festival. The performances at this event were free to the public, and the festival was a huge success. The orchestra is composed of musicians, visual artists, dancers, and acrobats. Many are based in San Miguel, but others come from different parts of Mexico and around the world.

The tribute to Carlos Santana will be on Wednesday, December 14, at 7pm at the Angela Peralta Theater. Tickets can be purchased by calling 415-151-9551 or at the Biblioteca box office.
