On January 12, the opening of the most important artistic event in the city took place: ART San Miguel Contemporary Art Fair & Jazz, at the SOMA District facilities. This year, it has the participation of galleries such as Ana Julia Aguado, Taller 30, Intersección, Noel Cayetano, FreshEggsGallery, Mario Llaca, Aguafuerte, Arte Oaxaca, Tirante, Amarillo 78, and Artike; and with prominent artists such as Vladimir Cora, Edward Swift, Juan Ezcurdia, El Fantasma, Spencer Tunick, Elsa de la Garza, Gerardo Martínez, Argelia Matus, Adriana Stehle, Ana Boes, and Daniel Castellanos, among others.
The VIP opening was a complete success with attendees enjoying a wonderful jazz concert, “An evening of Swing.” They also had a chance to view some outstanding works of contemporary art in the region.
